FLINT, MI—People can ask music industry professionals about their journey to success during the BeatsxBeers’ home series.
Created by BeatsxBeers’ founder, Brandon Corder, the home series features music industry guests that will answer people’s questions on Instagram live. The series’ first guest is Headkrack, a media personality on Dish Nation, who will answer questions at 9 p.m. on May 7.
Corder said he’s trying to utilize his relationships with other artists and influencers to inspire people during the COVID-19 pandemic. There will be a new guest featured on the BeatsxBeers’ Instagram each week.
The pandemic forced Corder to cancel several of his events, like a BeatsxBeers St. Patrick’s Day function in March. The Instagram series is a creative way to get people in contact with professionals in the media industry.
“I wanted to create a new way to keep our audience engaged,” Corder said. “Our guests will talk about their journey and what they have been doing during the pandemic.”
More guests will be announced in the future. The series is meant to be an educational piece for up and coming artists, Corder said.
“Even after all of this is over, this is something we have developed and can continue on in the future,” he said.
Corder said he wants people to take something meaningful away from the Instagram series that can be applied in their personal life. He
